Carson Chandler, Partner, Align Public Strategies

Carson Chandler has nearly two decades of experience across public affairs, communications, government relations and politics.

Before joining Align Public Strategies, Chandler served for more than five years as Public Affairs Director to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. He developed, carried out and communicated signature projects for the City of Orlando. He was also staff director for the Mayor's leadership role in the U.S. Conference of Mayors and other national organizations. Through that work he built relationships with hundreds of the nation's mayors, their senior staffs and national organizations focused on state and local government.

Chandler was previously Vice President of a Washington, DC–based communications and government relations firm. He served as a press official in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, including as Deputy Press Secretary to U.S. Senator Bob Graham. In that role he handled media relations for the Congressional 9/11 investigation.

A University of Florida graduate, Chandler began his career as a television news reporter and anchor. He won an Emmy Award at the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach.

Chandler brings together communications and government experience with a record of building public-private partnerships. He helps clients develop winning messages, get them to decision makers and influencers, and mobilize those stakeholders to deliver results.
